Sudheesh Singanamalla
I am an engineer & designer exploring the path of research, currently working as a Research Fellow at the Microsoft Research India lab (MSRI) advised by Dr. Bill Thies & Dr. Colin Scott in the Technology for Emerging Markets (TEM) group. In my work at the lab focused on systems and security, I am advised by Dr. Muthian Sivathanu & Dr. Satya Lokam.
I am a strong believer in blending the best take aways from the world of design, engineering and research to build solutions which make a difference. For me the best solutions are those which are well thought of, have a great user experience with a well rounded methodology of design while at the same time technologically challenging to implement and which satisfies the end user. I consider myself a lifelong learner with a desire to openly share what I learn from others and what I can teach to others.
I pursued my undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Warangal '16 and a Technology Entrepreneurship and Product Design programme from Indian School of Business '16. Prior to joining Microsoft Research, I worked as a software engineer at Microsoft India Development Centre and have work experience as an intern and software developer with various startups and organizations like Google, Redhat and Mozilla.
